Enerhomor is an experimental project and sound performance by ummsbiaus, an electronic musician from Kyïv.
This project evolved from field recordings, mainly crunchy, electrical sounds partly recorded at the beginning of the war at the outskirts of Kyïv, which form an overall image of cruel attacks aiming to destroy Ukrainian infrastructure.

About the idea🪫

Nights in complete darkness drag on slowly. Silent Kyïv cloaked in darkness, breathes frostily and almost soundlessly. Only occasionally the old transformer screeches with its hum. The voice in the receiver sings a lullaby, but the connection gradually disappears. The meter crackles sluggishly, and here and there the eyes-lamps light up. As suddenly a hideous buzzing is heard, and a feeling of insecurity covers the body and mind. And abruptly, the air is compressed, after a dull gap, tearful signals howl. The city freezes.

On the cover you will find a device photographed in Chernobyl Exclusion Zone.
